First Time Set Up

If you have not yet set up your Oculus Quest 2 headset yet, please go to Set up your Oculus Quest 2 VR Headset.

Or if you have not registered your BrainCore computer yet, please go to Register a Computer.

Steps:

This is best done with two people. One person on the computer and one in the headset.

Person 1 CPU: On the computer

Person 2 VR: In the headset

1. Set up VR play area

(Person 2 VR)

• Have the second person put on the headset, you're going to want to set up your guardian.

• Detailed instructions can be found here.

2. Download the app

(Person 2 VR)

• Download the Meta Core Health VR app that should already be in your VR app library if you purchased a key from Meta Core Health.

Common problems:

• If you can't see it in your library you either need to...

  • Enter your Oculus game key code from us (this would have been sent to your email) more info on this here

  • OR

  • You haven't purchased a Meta Core Health Registration key, please purchase one here.

3. Start the MCH Desktop App

(Person 1 CPU)

• Open the MCH Desktop App and click Connect

Note: If the red button on the left says Setup instead of Deregister Computer, please go to Register a Computer before proceeding.

4. Log into Admin Website

(Person 1 CPU)

• Sign into admin website and click the Live tile.

• Create yourself a client (or select one if you already have one).

5. Connect MCH Desktop App

(Person 1 CPU)

• Once you have selected a client you should be able to see your computer under the Connected Computers tile. Go ahead and select it.

6. Name headset

(Person 2 VR)

• Once the Meta Core Health VR app is downloaded, start the game.

• Headset should be prompted to name the headset.

• Your headset will be registered on the admin website to you.

• Each headset needs to be registered in our system. To do this, purchase a registration key for each headset (they can be purchased here if you don't already have one).

• (Person 1 CPU) Click the headset (row in the table), Person 2 should now be able to teleport.

Note: If you don't see your headset here, please check that both your headset and computer are connected to the same network.

If the problem persists, close all applications and restart your computer and headset.

7. Set up Crystal Cave

(Person 2 VR)

• Click the teleport button.

• Select Crystal Cave.

• Once in the cave, click download all tracks that have download under them (not select) prior to clients using this experience.

8. Reset

(Person 2 VR)

• Press in both joysticks to send yourself back to the waiting room.

9. Set up Nature Screen

(Person 2 VR)

• Click the teleport button and await (Person 1 CPU) to log you in

• Select Nature Screen

• Sign into your supported streaming services of choice prior to clients using this experience.

• Supported streaming services: Amazon Prime, Disney+, YouTube, Crunchy Roll, there may be others that will work, currently we only know of Netflix not working.

10. Reset Again & Done!

(Person 2 VR)

• Press in both joysticks to send yourself back to the waiting room.

• You are now ready to run sessions!

• (Person 2 VR) You may now turn off the headset and (Person 1 CPU) close all applications safely.
